Ruth E. Kibele

Ruth E. Kibele, 91, of Bluffton, died April 23, 2010 at Otterbein Nursing Home, Cridersville. She was born April 2, 1919 to John and Clara Gratz Geiser in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin. She married Kermit Kibele on June 20, 1938; he died January 20, 1969.
 
Mrs. Kibele owned and operated Kibbees Carry Out and had worked at Triplett Corp., of Bluffton. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School and attended Bluffton College. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Bluffton.
Survivors include daughters, Jeannie (Owen) Hinkle, Lima, Kay (Don) Wade, of Lima; sons, Kim (Susie) Kibele, Richmond, Ind., Jan (Paula) Kibele, of Bluffton, Don Kibele, of Cuyahoga Falls, Tom (Sherry) Kibele, of Harrod; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jack and Keith Kibele, and a brother, Paul Geiser.
 
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, at 11 a.m. at First Mennonite Church, Bluffton. Rev. Steven J. Yoder and Rev. Louise Wideman will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 30, at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
