
Christopher Jay Bricker, 38, of Columbus Grove, died February 26, 2010 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
Chris was born April 21, 1971 to Jay and Pam (Morton) Bricker in Lima, Ohio. He married Tracie Best on August 13, 1994 and she survives.
Chris had worked at Grob Systems Inc., Bluffton, as a fabricator. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bluffton. He was a member of the Eagles in Columbus Grove. He coached his sons in midget football and wrestling. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a Bluffton High School graduate.
Survivors include his wife, Tracie Bricker, of Columbus Grove; sons, Austin Dean Bricker and Dakota Jay Bricker, at home; parents, Jay and Pam Bricker, of Bluffton; brother, Tyler (Sarah) Bricker, of Bluffton; parents-in-law, Al and Sue Best, of Columbus Grove.
Chris was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Paul B. and Alice Morton; paternal grandparents, R.G. and Fern Bricker.
Funeral services were Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. Rev. Ryan Grace and Chaplain William Herr officiated. Visitation was Monday, March 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, March 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton.
